Every page keeps the skin's token contract at its root — slate, gold, Caslon, Instrument Serif — and each extends it its own way: Lection reads it straight, Folio sets it on cream paper, Exposition dims the house lights, Illumination lays on the gold leaf, and Pulpit preaches it at full voice.
